You Be Right... I'll Be Rich!I often get a real kick out of the "hard heads" out there who are bound and determined to derail us off our path to profits with AmeriPlan® and Simple As ABC. You'll know them when you meet them... They're probably going to be hiding, ready to pounce, from your Warm Market list...
Roger Campbell went through many of these situations on his way to the top. Do yourself a HUGE favor ...DON'T DEBATE! If someone is so eager to smash your dreams and goals, this is NOT the type of prospect you want in your business, and you definitely DON'T want to be hanging around any "energy suckers" on your way to an incredible future. There are two types of prospects you want to avoid wasting time with, and you'll learn how to spot them immediately: ..."the DREAM STEALERS"... ...and the "FOREVER MAYBES"... Dream Stealers are pretty easy to catch. Like the story above... Don't argue. Don't debate. Don't convince (never ever convince anyone - you don't need to). Just walk away. If you have to say anything at all to them, borrow a phrase from me: "Okay Fred. Thanks for your input. You be right. I'll be rich." ...and then run, don't walk, far far away. 2 years from now you may want to give him/her a call and see how their plan is working out in their lives. It's fun to compare notes once you've made it! :o) It's the "MAYBES" that will kill you in this business...
In the above snapshot, this is the fifth time Mary has attempted to reach John ...following up with him after sending him to her website for the presentation. Personally, I give everyone 3 chances ...remember, I OWN the opportunity that can put thousands and thousands of dollars in their pockets! I'm not posturing here - I'm just stating the FACTS. If I haven't been able to complete the follow-up phase by the third call, I'll send them a brief note stating right up front something like this...
Then I tuck their contact card into my Eagle File for the month in which I plan to touch base with them ...and move on! Some Will. Some Won't. So What. Next!Think about this a minute... AmeriPlan®, at the time of this writing, has about 1.1 Million satisfied happy customers using their benefits plan right now, and a few thousand of these are Brokers earning significant income. We've only reached about 0.3% of our market, folks. I'm talking less than 1% for crying out loud! Sheesh! We have so many people we still have to talk to out there, ...there just isn't enough time to waste on maybes and dream stealers. C'mon - let's ROLL! We've given you some great starting tips in this Training Center already - both for prospecting online and prospecting offline. Millions and millions of people out there still need to hear about us.
