I Know How You Feel...
Read the above two paragraphs again. What you have just read is called "overcoming objections" ...and no... it is NOT manipulation... so get that idea out of your head right this minute! About 80% of the "no's" you get in this business aren't really "no's" ...they're people wanting a solution to a problem they are currently facing in their lives. If you listen closely enough to them, YOU can solve their problems for them, thanks to your AmeriPlan® opportunity. Don't forget... Let's deal with the last one first. "Is this one of them there pyramid things?" See the answer to it in Promo Pages... that's a great page to send this kind of prospect to. Let's go one step up... "I don't like selling." RESPONSE: That's great to know because in this business "selling" is NOT the way to go! If you're looking for a job in sales, you're better off going elsewhere. This one is handled differently by different people. Personally, I prefer people coming on board with my team who HAVE a valid credit card and who aren't taking food off the table to get started in business ...so I qualify just a bit differently than most. Which usually leads to the next common objection ..."I have to get my wife's/husband's approval." RESPONSE: GREAT, ABSOLUTLEY.... THAT'S WISE OF YOU! I like the way you think. We do things the same way in our family! What time will your wife/husband be home? I'll be happy to call back and share the details with him/her... Unless you have a phonographic memory.. It's a lot to share... The BEST thing to do, if they can be online while on the phone with you, is literally walk them through the entire sign-up process right then and there on the phone with you.
