Stuffing The Funnel

In the Prospecting part of the Invite Phase you are:

  • finding/meeting new people,
  • sifting through them to determine who would be interested and who is not,
  • and inviting them to your presentation. We'll go more into the "following up with them after their presentation" later.

Generally, in Network Marketing this is referred to as "stuffing the funnel" ...and to your right is a simple picture of what it looks like:

We're going to focus on the top part of your prospecting funnel in this section of Offline Marketing...

Classified Ads ...Most people naturally think newspapers when we think of this method. Add to that; trade magazines, opportunity magazines, general interest magazines and newsletters, club newsletters, yellow page advertising, etc.

Direct Mail ...This includes (but is not limited to); postcard marketing, card decks, flyer inserts, value pack coupon books/mailers, etc.

Business Cards ...We'll go into this and Hot Cards more in Bonus Tips.

E-Disk Presentation ...Plenty to choose from in your AmeriPlan® Broker Support website.

Word-of-Mouth and Referrals ...Word-of-mouth is pretty self-explanatory, and by referrals we're talking about those people who aren't interested from whom you ask for names and contact info of those they think may be interested.

Warm Market ...You guessed it. This is your "list" which we've already discussed several times throughout your Simple As ABC Training Center.

Trade Shows ...Not just home business Trade Shows... go beyond and think of your local home town trade shows, Chamber of Commerce business events, and more.

Email/Sig ...We went into a great deal of detail on this in "Online Marketing"

Whew! That's plenty enough to get your own creative ideas rocking for stuffing your prospecting funnel! There's more... we have materials that cover more than 250 different prospecting methods ...and that still doesn't cover all the possibilities.

Get excited!! When it comes to prospecting, enthusiasm will get you further than training almost every single time. Have FUN with it :o)
