Question: "What is AmeriPlan USA®?"
Answer: AmeriPlan USA® is a Provider Access Organization. We arrange for our members to have access to dental, vision, chiropractic, and pharmaceutical providers who have agreed to offer their services at negotiated discounts off their usual and customary fees.
Question: "How much discount do members save on dental fees?"
Answer: Members can save 25% - 65% on all restorative and cosmetic work (fillings, crowns, braces, etc.) and up to 80% on preventative work (teeth cleaning, x-rays, etc.) performed by a general dentist. Specialist fees are discounted 25%.
Question: "Are pre-existing conditions covered?"
Answer: Since AmeriPlan® is NOT INSURANCE OR A HEALTH ORGANIZATION, all pre-existing conditions are covered except orthodontic treatment in progress.
Question: "What is the waiting period, deductible, etc.?"
Answer: There is no waiting period before you can start using your plan! And, there are no deductibles, no claim forms to fill out, and no limits on visits to your providers!
Question: "How much is the plan membership fee?"
Answer: Individual membership is only $11.95 per month! An entire household membership is $19.95 per month! A household membership covers all residents in the household including parents, children, relatives, significant others, and all permanent residents of the household!
Question: "How much more do the Pharmacy, Vision, and Chiropractic plans cost?"
Answer: The Prescription Drug, Vision, and Chiropractice Plans are absolutely FREE with the Dental Plan Membership!
Question: "Who are the Dental, Prescription Drug, Vision, and Chiropractic Care providers?"
Answer: Within 10-14 days of receipt of your application at corporate headquarters in Dallas, you will receive a Member Information Guide, Membership Identification card(s), and a Dental, Pharmacy, Vision, and Chiropractic Care Directory. Present your Membership ID card to any AmeriPlan® provider and you will be eligible to receive discounted fees. You pay the provider at the time of service. Question: "I really need to get to a Dentist right away! If I purchase my Membership now how soon can I see a dentist and start saving money?"
Answer: Your AmeriPlan® Broker will need to process your Membership application, online via either www.mybenefitsplus.com or www.iboplus.com .. OR .. FAX the application to AmeriPlan® .. prior to 5 p.m. Central Standard Time today. Once you are ACTIVE in the system you can go to the participating AmeriPlan® dentist of your choice in your area. The dentist will call AmeriPlan® at 1-800-647-8421 and verify you are an active member (or broker). Once verified, you will begin receiving your AmeriPlan® savings immediately.
Question: "Can I get a list of providers available in Puerto Rico?"

Question: "Can I pay by money order?"
Answer: Yes, however money orders are ONLY accepted when a person is paying ANNUALLY.
New Broker Questions
Question: "I've just signed up as a new broker. How do I get my FREE grocery coupons?"
Answer: As an additional FREE BONUS, all new BROKERS (not members) will receive a $500.00 value shopping certificate book -- upon REQUEST. Inside your broker kit there is a coupon you can mail to AmeriPlan® to claim your Grocery Coupon Savings Book. Using these valuable certificates will save you $500 or more on over 1,000 of your favorite brand-name health care products and other grocery items. Enjoy!!
Question: "I am an active broker. Can I enroll a family member in my home as a broker too?"
Answer: Sorry - the answer is no.
Question: "When do I get my AmeriPlan® (Bloom Bucks) Sales Certificates?"
Answer: Only NEW APP PAK Brokers will receive the $450 in Gift Certificates (AMERIPLAN® GIFT CERTIFICATIONS - Bloom Bucks or Sales Certificates) when an APP PAK is purchased. These $450 in Gift Certificates are MAILED separately to the new App Pak Broker and have a 90 days expiration date on them. PLEASE - be sure to use them within the 90 day period so you don't miss out. They are valuable!
Question: "I'm interested in enrolling as a Broker but would rather put my AmeriPlan® business in my Corporation name. Is this possible?"
Answer: As of June 18, 2001, the policy for enrolling a new broker who chooses to enroll as a corporation was allowed. Here's the guidelines - as long as the corporation has been in existence for at least 12 months you may enroll your corporation name instead of your personal name. When your sponsor processes your broker application in the name of your corporation, he/she must also submit a copy of your corporation charter for the application to be processed and active.
